"I like this mount very much. It will be very handy holding a laptop or phone that doesn't need to be plugged in. However, one complaint I have is that the solid back doesn't allow me to use it with the Garmin Drive Smart 65 I wanted it for. The power plug for the Garmin is in the back so I can't center it on the mount. I can slide the GPS to the left and the plug will work but the right side doesn't fit in the stand and isn't secure. I would have to fasten it some other way. I'm thinking I can still make it work but you might think about units that plug in the back."

Q&A

What is the tab on the back of the holder for. I don’t want the device to rotate while driving since I do Uber. I also have a holder attached to the case that allows me to hold my phone so I can see who calling. With the phone attached the device rotates to the side that’s heavy.
This tabs helps release the phone/tablet mount from base.
I am looking for a holder that will work with a device that is 7.25" wide and 5.25" tall. Would this holder work with that size of device?
