ToughTested .com Shipping Policies
At ToughTested.com, we want to ensure that you understand our shipping policies clearly to make your shopping experience as smooth as possible. Please review the following guidelines:
Insurance and Signature Requirements:
- Our shipments may not require a signature, and orders may be left at your doorstep. Please ensure someone is available to receive the delivery.
- If you desire insurance for your shipment or wish to add signature requirements for delivery, please send a request via our contact page after placing your order online. We will not be responsible for lost or stolen shipments unless these requests are made.
Delivery Options:
- If you do not see a specific delivery option during the checkout process, that option is unavailable for your order.
Carrier Selection:
- Various carriers may deliver orders, and we cannot accommodate specific carrier requests for your order.
Refused and Returned Shipments:
- Shipments must be accepted.
- If a shipment is refused, the order becomes non-returnable and non-refundable.
- Customers must accept the shipment and return the products themselves.
- If you cannot accept your shipment, please contact the carrier to arrange a future delivery.
- Please do so to avoid the carrier destroying the shipment. ToughTested will not be obligated to issue a refund or replacement in such cases.
- A 15% restocking fee and shipping costs will be imposed for returned shipments when processing refunds.
Alternate Delivery Address:
- If you won't be available to sign for a package at your home, you have the option during checkout to ship it to your workplace or to a friend or family member.
Billing Address and Risk of Loss:
- Please note that ToughTested reserves the right to deny shipping requests to an address other than the billing address.
- The risk of loss and title for items purchased from ToughTested passes to you upon our delivery to the carrier as per the shipment contract.
Re-Routing Packages:
- Due to fraud prevention measures, we do not re-route packages, and picking up a product at a UPS hub is not an option. No exceptions.
Risk of Non-Receipt Claim:
- The customer assumes all risk of loss and agrees to waive all rights to an unauthorized, not as described, or non-receipt claim.
Shipment Marked as Delivered:
- If a shipment is marked as delivered by the shipper, and the customer claims non-receipt, ToughTested is not responsible for shipping a replacement or refunding.
Lost or Damaged Packages:
- If the shipping box appears damaged or tampered with upon arrival, please take photographic evidence and notify us immediately, providing images as well.
- If your shipment is lost or damaged in transit, the recipient must contact the carrier immediately to initiate a claim.
- Please be patient during the tracer/claim process, which typically takes 3-8 business days.
- After initiating the claim, please Contact Us with details of the situation and the steps taken to resolve it.
- If the package is found during the tracer, it will be delivered by the shipping carrier. However, if it is lost, ToughTested will ship a new order once we are reimbursed upon receiving proof of an approved claim.
- Please note that signing for a package at the shipping company's hub or office not delivered to the shipping address waives the right to start a claim or chargeback against ToughTested or the shipping company.
Inspecting Packages:
- Before signing for a package, please inspect it. Any damage or defects reported after signing are not the responsibility of ToughTested.
